Shipping your media correctly is a critical aspect of ensuring that your data remains recoverable. Below are a number of important tips you should follow when packaging your media for shipment. 1. Package your media (hard drive or removable media like Jaz or Zip disks) in ESD, or anti-static bags. 2. Use foam blocks, or at least a double to triple layer of bubble wrap around the entire drive. 3. Please DO NOT use shipping "popcorn" or egg carton material for shipping. These materials tend to generate static electricity, which can be very dangerous to your media. 4. Also, DO NOT USE simple shipping products like overnight letter envelopes or what are known as "Soft Packs" to ship your hard drives. Our receiving address is located below. When shipping your drive or media, you should also include a signed, completed Hard Disk Recovery Request Form and any important non-disclosure forms you would like us to sign. Please ensure that you do have a request form enclosed with the media. If you do not have access to a printer, please write down the information the form requests.
